[TUCSON, ARIZONA] The Academy of Pediatric Integrative Medicine (APIM) is excited to announce the official launch of its year-long, fully virtual Fellowship Training in pediatric integrative medicine, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s commitment to advancing pediatric integrative medicine worldwide.
“We are entering an exciting phase at APIM,” says Hilary McClafferty, M.D., Founder and CEO. “The new Fellowship creates a path to national board eligibility for physicians seeking board certification in integrative medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM).”
The Fellowship is the only pediatric-focused program of its kind, offering a comprehensive curriculum that provides in-depth training in pediatric integrative medicine, as well as adult-oriented integrative medicine. Through rigorous, evidence-based courses, Master Classes with national and international faculty experts, clinical integration sessions, case studies, research opportunities, national board preparation, and individual faculty mentoring, Fellows are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field.
This innovative program aims to drive advancement in pediatric integrative medicine by preparing physicians to deliver integrative care in a variety of settings—from academic medical centers to community health centers, private clinics, and more.
In addition to the Fellowship, APIM is proud to continue offering its flagship ten-month Academy Scholars Certificate Program, which provides a Certificate of Specialization in Pediatric Integrative Medicine. Open to physicians and licensed APRNs worldwide, the program offers pediatric-focused courses, Master Classes, and clinical integration sessions designed to expand knowledge and foster professional growth in pediatric integrative medicine.
Applications for the 2025 Fellowship and Academy Scholars Certificate Program cohorts will open on August 15, 2024, providing an opportunity for interested candidates to learn from experts in the field, join a global community of like-minded professionals, and shape the future of healthcare for children.
