The Academy Scholars Program, offered by APIM, is a comprehensive 10-month certificate program designed for physicians and APRNs worldwide. This program is a vital resource addressing the substantial gap in pediatric integrative medicine education. Its primary aim is to equip you and your healthcare team with the knowledge and skills needed for successful practice, program development, and credentialing, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
The curriculum is a culmination of rigorous, evidence-based foundational courses and covers a wide range of subjects, including complementary therapies in pediatrics, clinical applications, clinician well-being, and an array of pediatric specialty electives. Taught by esteemed national pediatric experts, the program employs a diverse range of teaching methods, including online courses, webinars, master classes, small group discussions, clinical roundtables, and case studies. Clinical teams are also encouraged and welcomed to apply, as a way of fostering collaboration and shared learning.

Indeed, we provide over 200 hours of Category 1 AMA CME credits, or CE credits, tailored to your degree and professional needs.
To graduate, you will need to complete all coursework and assignments, pass the final exam with a minimum score of 80%, finish a Capstone project, and actively participate in Small Group and Clinical Roundtable case discussions.
The program is designed with the working healthcare professional in mind. Typically, you’ll need to dedicate 6-8 hours per week. All courses and live-class meetings are recorded for those who cannot attend in person. We also observe a Spring break and Summer break in line with typical school schedules.
Tuition for the 2024 Academy Scholars program is $14,899, which includes lifetime access to courses, Master Classes with national pediatric experts, small group discussions, clinical roundtables, a listing in our graduate directory, mentorship, additional resources, and much more! Installment plans are available.
Yes, we offer an installment payment option, and if you choose to pay in full, we provide a 10% tuition adjustment.

No, the Academy Scholars program is offered once annually, with classes commencing in January and concluding in October.
No, the program is entirely delivered online, eliminating the need for travel. While we may consider in-person conferences in the future, these would be separate from the core coursework. Your learning experience will encompass online courses, Zoom-based Small Group sessions, live virtual Master Classes with expert faculty, Clinical Roundtable discussions, assignments, and treatment plans.
