ModeratorDr. Hilary McClafferty founded the Academy of Pediatric Integrative Medicine to help fill an important educational gap for pediatricians and their patients and families. She is Board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Integrative Medicine, and enjoys teaching and writing about innovative ways to improve children and family health.
Lori Byron, MD, FAAP
SpeakerLori G Byron, MD, MS of Crow Agency, MT, practiced pediatrics for 27 years on the Crow Indian Reservation. Now she works largely on climate and health issues along with her husband Robert. She earned a Masters of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins and now teaches Climate and Health at JH. She chairs the Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate with her husband. She leads a grassroots effort with pediatrician climate advocates in all 59 AAP chapters. She served as an expert medical witness in the Held v MT and Lighthiser v Trump cases, advocating for a clean and healthful environment for future generations.
